Have you ever started a project as fast and hard as you can only to make it worse because you didn’t plan well enough or lay enough ground work? I can’t tell you how many times I can done this to myself. I actually just did it last weekend when working on the first release for CodingWheels. So it is something that still happens even when you know better. At least I had the unit tests in place this time.
Looks like the time is getting close for me to start what I have always wanted which was a small software business of the side. I know it is hard to get something like this up and running when you are doing it on the side but I think we finally have some ideas in place that will allow it to remain small and be something we can manage on a non full time basis for now. The site isn’t live yet but the name and domain have been in existence for some time now. CodingWheels is an idea what was thought up a long time ago and has been on the back burner so some time now. It isn’t really a product as much as an idea.
More details will be on the way later once we are up and running. The initials line of business will be .Net assemblies that hopefully with be helpful to the .Net community. The first one is done and just needs to me better documented.
Well, I am finally going to try to take this seriously this time. Hopefully this will be updated on a regular basis from now on.
